Zirconium-aluminum getters are the first zirconium-based, non-evaporable getter alloys introduced and are still widely-used globally after more than 30 years of applications. 

 

Zirconium-aluminum getters are versatile getters and offer excellent gettering speeds.  

 

They are used when higher-temperature activation is permissible (550°-900° C). The normal operating temperature range of this getter is between 200° to 400° C, where it is able to continuously absorb high concentrations of CO, CO2, H2, H20, and O2. 

 

Principal applications include lamps, hydrogen storage, and gas purification systems.
